Here at Sa-I-Mika, we have 22 beautiful rooms – most of which are individual cottages. The rooms are spread out between two areas of the property, the Valley View Side and the Stream View Side.

The Valley View Side and the Stream View side are 500m apart. Therefore, if you are looking to book more than one room, we highly recommend that you book cottages entirely on one side of the resort, as moving between the two sides during the monsoon rains and cold winter nights can be inconvenient.

This is a wonderful place, so calm and beautiful. It is a great place to visit on a vacation. Keep some good time in hand to spend in the resort as the property is huge. Simply loved it! Staff is good. Food is also delicious.

We stayed at Saimika resort for 3 nights and we had an amazing experience staying at this place. This property spread over 69 acres of land is an absolute delight for all nature lovers. We stayed in a traditional Khasi cottage Rympei and loved the local experience. The staff Vicky and Badu were quite helpful throughout our stay, so much so we ended up making some new friends from Sohra. We loved relishing on the yummy cuisines by the bonfire every night. We would love to visit this amazing property again given a chance.

One of the best places to stay in Sohra, the area having the highest star density throughout the year. You can explore the formation of the Milky Way galaxy if there is clear sky. Loved the service and food, and luckily there was a live band performing that added magic to this place.
