Sa-I-Mika Park

Mawsawa Falls, Prut Falls, Lyngksiar Falls, Mawsawdong Falls and the famous Dainthlen Falls

6-15 Kms Away

20-45 Mins Away (approx.)

These are the waterfalls which are on the route to Sa-I-Mika
through the Sohra Rim diversion not the main Sohra Road. After
Sohra Rim Village if you are coming from Shillong you will see a
board on your right side with our name on it. You could enter or exit
Sohra from this route, and you can plan to see all or a few of the
waterfalls (Please note about 3-4kms of the road is in slightly bad conditions, the rest is a good drive).
This road also takes you through the very famous Dainthlen Falls.
Legend has it that a demon snake called Thlen was slaughtered here.
Dain means Cut and thlen is the name of the demon snake. Marks of the Thlen are believed to still be on the rock where he was slaughtered.
The area lies just before the waterfall.
